1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Foreman to supervise daily construction activities, manage labour teams, coordinate with site engineers, and ensure that work is executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily civil construction activities at the project site.
- Allocate work to masons, carpenters, steel fixers, helpers, and other labourers.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings and instructions from site engineers.
- Supervise reinforcement steel fixing, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Check line, level, alignment, dimensions, and workmanship before requesting inspections.
- Coordinate concrete pouring activities, including labour deployment and site preparation.
- Monitor daily labour attendance, productivity, and work progress.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available before starting work.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other departments.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe working conditions.
- Ensure workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify site issues and report delays, drawing discrepancies, and material shortages to the Site Engineer.
- Minimize material wastage and ensure proper use of construction materials.




- Monitor the quality of workmanship and rectify defects as instructed.
- Follow inspection procedures and obtain clearance before proceeding with subsequent activities.
- Maintain daily work progress and labour records.
- Ensure work is completed within the assigned schedule and quality requirements.

3. Educational Qualifications

- ITI, Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent practical construction experience.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in civil construction.

4. Required Skills

- Good knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
- Knowledge of reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, and finishing activities.
- Labour handling and workforce management.
- Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and equipment.
- Understanding of construction quality and site safety procedures.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Daily work progress against assigned targets.
- Quality of workmanship and reduction in rework.
- Labour productivity and workforce utilization.
- Material wastage control.
- Compliance with site safety requirements.
- Timely completion of assigned activities.

6. Preferred Experience

- Experience in residential, commercial, and high-rise building projects.
- Experience handling masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and general labour teams.
- Practical knowledge of structural and finishing works.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Site Engineers and Construction Managers.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
