Role Description
We are seeking an IT Application Owner (ITAO) to the governance, operational stability, compliance, and lifecycle management of critical banking applications within Deutsche Bank. The successful candidate will act as the primary accountable owner for application availability, resilience, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and technology risk management while working closely with Product Owners, Engineering teams, Operations teams, and Infrastructure teams. The role requires solid leadership capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of application governance, security controls, and operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities
• Manage the operational stability, availability, and governance of 3–4 business applications across Production and Non-Production environments.
• Coordinate incident, problem, change, and release management activities with engineering, infrastructure, and support teams.
• Support compliance with Deutsche Bank technology policies, risk controls, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Track and drive remediation of infrastructure vulnerabilities, patching activities, certificate renewals, and technology compliance actions.
• Support Disaster Recovery testing, resilience activities, and business continuity requirements.
