Equilend’s 1Source platform presents the opportunity to implement new technologies that can allow the Securities Lending industry to completely reimagine how platforms work and share information, and how true single-source data can be experienced.

We are now seeking a Senior Developer to join us in the Bangalore office on our Ledger team, a key component in the delivery of the firm’s Distributed Ledger Technology strategy. In this team we are working on a cutting-edge greenfield development to represent Securities Lending contracts and their lifecycle events.

In this role you will be designing and developing our on-ledger Smart Contracts in DAML and off-ledger supporting components to shape the future of the Securities Lending industry, this project is still at its early phases and the successful candidate will get the opportunity to shape the future of Securities Lending in Web3. What you’ll do

• Designing and developing our core Smart Contracts in DAML for our Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)





• Developing off-ledger supporting components in Java and Python leveraging microservice containers in AWS & Kubernetes.

• Deliver complex enterprise solutions with high code standards including unit testing and e2e testing

• Participate in Agile software development projects and tasks include coding, testing, debugging, documentation, peer-review, deploying, monitoring, and support

• Participate in task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, project managers, product managers, quality assurance, management and operations

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of commercial experience with recent development experience building Smart Contracts in a distributed ledger workplace

• Commercial experience developing smart contracts in DAML

• Experience working with either Canton 2.x or 3
