Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Battery Management Systems

Role Overview
Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with four to six years of experience to build and productize software across the complete Battery Management Systems (BMS) stack. You will work from MCU platforms and BMS IC device drivers through battery-algorithm implementation and integration,



creating scalable solutions for automotive, energy storage, industrial, robotics, and emerging markets.
This role offers broad technical ownership and the opportunity to solve demanding hardware–software and algorithm-integration problems. You will combine solid Embedded C and Python skills with mathematics, electrical engineering, and systems thinking to deliver efficient, production-quality software for resource-constrained real-time platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Build the complete BMS software stack, including MCU platform software, hardware abstraction, diagnostics, BMS IC and peripheral device drivers, communication, monitoring, protection, and balancing.
• Deploy battery algorithms on embedded targets, translating models and reference code for SOC, SOH, power capability, diagnostics, anomaly detection, and impedance-based functions into deterministic Embedded C.
