About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract and lead business development and sales activities across various energy sectors in India.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth across key accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of the local energy market, including power generation and transmission, electricity distribution, renewable energy, oil & gas exploration and production, refining, petrochemicals, pipelines, LNG, and associated infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling industrial technology, engineering solutions, equipment, services, digital solutions,



automation, or other B2B offerings to major utilities, oil & gas companies, EPC contractors, and infrastructure organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a focused sales strategy for the Utilities and Oil & Gas markets across India.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities to achieve agreed revenue and margin targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline covering short-, medium-, and long-term opportunities.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, technical stakeholders, procurement teams, and senior management.
- Generate new leads through direct engagement, industry networks, strategic partnerships, conferences, and market intelligence.
- Lead the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contract award, and handover.
