End User Computing - Senior Engineer

Required Skills:
● Proven experience (7+ years) as a senior engineer supporting enterprise VDI environments (AWS WorkSpaces, AppStream 2.0, Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp, RemoteApp).
● Proven ability to build and operate AWS VDI environments at scale
● Solid knowledge of enterprise networking, Active Directory, SAN storage, security principles, and backup strategies.
● Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or shell scripting alongside CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
● Deep familiarity with AWS CLI, CloudWatch, VPC, EC2, S3, and AWS Service Catalog
● Proven expertise in isolating, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical issues
● Strong expertise in identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing cost-saving measures
● This role requires you to support Multi-region, Multi-site, VDI environments and be On call for critical Incidents for APAC Zone.

● Working familiarity with JIRA and Service Now
● Demonstrated experience executing medium-to-large-scale migrations from legacy VDI platforms onto AWS Cloud infrastructure

Responsibilities:
● Responsible for overall direction, development, enhancement and maintenance of the enterprise VDI environment (AWS Workspaces/Appstream). This includes analysis, planning, development and implementation of new features and enhancements to provide required levels of service to the organization
● Managing day-to-day administration, planning, and problem-solving for VDI infrastructure (AWS Workspaces & AppStream 2.0)
● Implement automated lifecycle management routines (auto-termination of idle resources, automated running-mode adjustments, right-sizing) alongside user notifications to maintain cost efficiency
● Utilize PowerShell, Python, and Jenkins to automate repeated operational tasks, service requests
