Node.js Developer

Location: Chennai – Taramani

Experience: 1–5 Years (minimum 2 years of relevant Node.js experience preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Node.js Developer with hands-on experience in developing scalable backend applications, building RESTful APIs, and working with databases and third-party integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong JavaScript skills and knowledge of backend development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Work with databases and optimize queries where required.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and business teams.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum activities.
- Maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills





- Hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with Express.js or NestJS.
- Good understanding of REST APIs.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with MongoDB is an advantage.
- Understanding of API security and backend development best practices.
- Experience with Git and version control.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Redis and caching mechanisms.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
