Job Role - Diagnostic / XML Engineer

About the Role
Own XML-based diagnostic configuration and act as the functional/technical bridge between customer requirements and the offshore development team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand machine, ECU and diagnostic requirements.
2. Develop and maintain machine-specific XML configurations.
3. Support diagnostics, ECU flashing and setup configurations.
4. Analyse existing XML structures, schemas and dependencies.
5. Support current machine models and ECUs.
6. Perform XML validation and troubleshooting.
7. Support pre-release and final-release preparation.
8. Participate in UAT and defect analysis.
9. Maintain XML configuration baselines and documentation.




10. Support knowledge transfer from the incumbent supplier.
11. Review offshore XML development deliverables.
12. Provide technical support for field issues.
Mandatory Skills XML development/configuration XML schema and configuration-driven applications Automotive diagnostics UDS J1939 CAN ECU flashing Diagnostic tool concepts Requirement analysis
Preferred RP1210 Vector/PCAN/VCI Experience with dealer/service diagnostic tools
Experience supporting construction/agricultural/off-highway equipment
