Purpose





The CEEW’s sustainable water programme informs policy-making for the
sustainable development of water resources and their effective management
through research in the areas of: circular water economy for urban resilience;
climate risk-informed water security planning; climate-adaptive water
governance; and water accounting-based planning.

For its sustainable water programme, CEEW seeks to hire a Research
Analyst with a positive understanding of India’s water sector. An ideal candidate
should have a thorough understanding of urban water management issues and
challenges, especially considering the climate variability and change, and the
current policy discourse (supply and demand management, and used water
treatment, recycling, and reuse) for addressing them. The candidate should have
prior experience working in the used water management and circular economy
sectors.
