Role Overview
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop backend engineering teams responsible for building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems that power Ajaib’s financial products. You will combine technical judgment with robust people leadership to ensure your team delivers impactful solutions while maintaining high engineering standards.
Working closely with Product, Design, and other engineering stakeholders,



you will translate business priorities into actionable technical plans, guide engineering execution, and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will also support your engineers' professional growth while ensuring our backend systems evolve to meet business and customer needs.
• Guide your team in designing and building scalable, secure backend services
• Stay hands-on when needed, including coding, debugging, and reviewing critical pull requests
• Step in during production incidents and work alongside your engineers to resolve them
• Take part in architecture and system design discussions, and make sound technical decisions
• Turn product and business priorities into clear engineering roadmaps and milestones
• Manage dependencies and flag delivery risks early to keep the team shipping
• Coach, mentor, and develop your engineers through regular feedback and
