The Engineer - PIM delivers and supports Product Information Management (PIM) capabilities within a pod-based engineering model. Product data serves as the foundation for merchandise, marketing, and digital processes across Officeworks, making this role vital in ensuring continuous capability delivery, validation, and production support without handoffs across analysis, build, test, and support phases.
The role takes end-to-end accountability for assigned PIM platform changes. By building, testing,



and supporting solution deliverables while developing cross-functional breadth alongside platform depth, the role enables robust product data governance, seamless enterprise integrations, and high-quality software releases.

Essential:
• Education: Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in enterprise application software development, configuration, and operational support, including 1-2 years hands-on within a PIM or MDM platform (Stibo STEP preferred).
• Programming Skills: Working capability in JavaScript for business rule development, with demonstrated ability to adapt to current programming languages and tools.
• Data Management Concepts: Strong foundational knowledge of PIM/MDM principles, including golden records, taxonomy design, attribute governance, enrichment, and syndication.
