Job Description: Procurement Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Procurement Engineer to manage vendor coordination, onboarding, cost negotiations, and material procurement for commercial interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and an understanding of construction materials and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and project services.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing, availability, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
- Negotiate costs and maintain competitive pricing while ensuring quality standards.
- Prepare and compare quotations, BOQs, purchase orders, and cost estimates.
- Manage vendor documentation, onboarding records, and supplier databases.
- Coordinate with design, project,



and site teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Track purchase orders, material deliveries, and pending supplies to ensure timely project execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Who Should Apply?
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in commercial interiors, construction, or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong vendor coordination, onboarding, and cost negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials, BOQs, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and valuable communication and negotiation skills.
