Role Description As a Mechanical Design Intern at Boatload Minds, you will support the engineering team in designing and developing hardware components for beverage dispensing systems. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist with creating 2D and 3D models, preparing engineering drawings, and contributing to concept development and prototyping activities. You will help in conducting basic design calculations, performing fit and tolerance checks,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine product designs based on testing and user feedback. This is an internship role based on-site in Coimbatore North, where you will work closely with mentors and gain hands-on experience in mechanical product development.
Qualifications
• Foundational mechanical design skills, including experience or coursework in CAD modeling and engineering drawing preparation.
• Basic understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to hardware product development.
• Ability to support design validation through measurements, simple calculations, and documentation of test results.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail in a fast-paced product development environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in on-site cross-functional teams.
