As part of our move to RISE with SAP, our SAP Basis operations are evolving from traditional system administration towards service orchestration, vendor management, and SLA-driven service quality. To strengthen our global IT-SAP-B “SAP Basis” team, we are looking for an SLA Manager SAP Basis / RISE Service Management who will act as the central interface between ENGEL and SAP, ensure service quality, coordinate changes and maintenance, and support the stable operation of our SAP landscape.
In addition, this role will be responsible for operating SAP archiving processes, including technical configuration, archiving runs, monitoring, and collaboration with the Governance & Compliance team on standards, document types, and retention rules.
Role PurposeThe SLA Manager will be the key service management interface between ENGEL and SAP for RISE/ECS operations. The role is responsible for monitoring SLA compliance, steering tickets and service requests, coordinating maintenance and system changes, managing escalations, and driving continuous service improvements.
The role also includes operational responsibility for SAP archiving and document management processes, including ArchiveLink, SAP DMS, SARA archiving, SAP ILM-related retention implementation, and monitoring of archive growth and storage utilization.
