The Associate Engineer – Merchandise & Marketing provides application configuration, system administration, incident resolution, quality assurance, and operational support across Officeworks' merchandise and marketing technology ecosystem. The ecosystem is anchored in the STEP Product Information Management (PIM) platform and extends across a connected landscape, including vendor-hosted platforms such as Adobe Marketing Cloud, Blue Yonder, Broad sign, NetTickIT, Relex, Scalene, ShopGrok, and Zitcha. As several of these platforms are customized,



the role applies structured configuration discipline to maintain product master data, data model attributes, and workflow configurations, while relying on vendor engineering teams or internal engineering specialists for core custom code development.
Working within a cross-functional pod, the role contributes platform and configuration expertise to functional requirements and user stories led by Product Orchestrators. It acts as a technical support contact for operational platform requests, executing functional configuration changes, coordinating end-to-end defect resolution, executing structured test cases, and ensuring security, access governance, and data privacy controls are maintained across the ecosystem.

Essential:
• Education: Tertiary degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an IT application support, systems administration, test engine
