About KalpiKalpi is building AI-powered wealth-tech solutions across portfolio analytics, quantitative investing, backtesting, and investment management. We work with retail investors, financial advisors, wealth managers, and financial institutions.
The RoleWe’re looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to work directly with the founders and drive Kalpi’s growth.
This is not just a sales role. You’ll take ownership of revenue, build strategic partnerships, explore current distribution channels, and eventually build and lead your own team as we scale.
What You’ll Do• Drive business development, sales, and revenue growth end-to-end.
• Build relationships with stockbrokers, wealth managers, RIAs, MFDs, fintechs, and financial institutions.
• Identify and close strategic partnerships, technology integrations, and distribution opportunities.




• Own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to negotiations, closures, and onboarding.
• Work directly with the founders on growth strategy, GTM, and new business opportunities.
• Build scalable sales processes and eventually hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team.

Who Should Apply?• Mandatory: Prior professional experience in financial services, fintech, wealth-tech, wealth management, or investment platforms.
• Proven experience in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, or distribution.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly driven, proactive, and willing to take ownership beyond a predefined job description.
• Someone who enjoys solving problems, working in a fast-paced startup, and building something from the ground up.
• Willing to work on-site from Hyderabad.
