Position Summary
The Executive Vice President – Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership for all manufacturing operations across Luman Industries’ three Pan Nagar plants manufacturing Automotive Filters, Brake Linings and Brake Pads. The role has end-to-end responsibility for Production, Purchase, PPC, Maintenance, Stores and overall plant operations, leading approximately 300 employees while driving world-class manufacturing, quality, delivery, cost and safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across all three plants.
• Achieve production, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Lead Production, Purchase, PPC, Maintenance and Stores functions.
• Ensure optimum production planning and inventory management.
• Drive vendor development, sourcing and cost reduction.
• Implement TPM, preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 requirements.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improve OEE, productivity, throughput and capacity utilisation.




• Drive cost reduction, scrap reduction and working capital improvements.
• Interface with OEM customers and support audits and recent product launches.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and statutory requirements.
• Develop leadership capability and build a high-performance culture.

Educational Qualifications
Mandatory:
• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Automobile Engineering or equivalent.
• MBA (Operations) / PGDM / Equivalent.
Experience
• 18–22 years in automotive component manufacturing.
• Minimum 8–10 years leading multi-plant manufacturing operations.
