Hiring: Furniture Designer (Cabinet Vision) | Coimbatore | Immediate Joining

RIK Industries designs and manufactures ready-to-assemble furniture under our brand About Space, sold across India on Amazon and Flipkart. Every product is designed in-house and produced on our own CNC lines in Coimbatore.

Our product range is growing, and we are looking for a furniture designer with Cabinet Vision experience to join our design team.

About the role

You will design ready-to-assemble furniture such as wardrobes, shoe racks, TV units and storage units, and carry each product from concept to production. Design and manufacturing are under one roof here, so you will see your work cut, drilled and assembled within days of releasing it.

Key responsibilities
- Create 3D models and production drawings in Cabinet Vision
- Finalise construction, fittings and hardware for each product
- Generate cut lists, BOMs and CNC programs for cutting, edge banding and drilling
- Work with the production team on first samples and resolve fitment issues
- Improve existing designs for material saving,



strength and easy assembly by the customer
- Maintain accurate design records for every model

What we are looking for
- 3+ years of experience in furniture design
- Hands-on working knowledge of Cabinet Vision
- Robust understanding of panel-based furniture, knock-down fittings and hardware
- Familiarity with CNC cutting, edge banding and drilling processes
- An eye for detail and a practical, shop-floor approach to design
- Availability to join immediately

Experienced furniture designers who work on other design software are also welcome to apply. We will provide Cabinet Vision training to the right candidate.
