Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Hardware Developer for Cognitive Systems and IBM Z, you will be responsible for developing test architectures, drivers, and checkers to test and verify designs used in these systems.
This role involves using logic simulation or formal verification techniques to validate that the hardware design under verification functions according to specifications.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
• Develop Test Architectures: Design and develop test architectures, drivers, and checkers using the latest technology to test and verify designs used in Cognitive Systems and IBM Z.
• Perform Validation Tests: Conduct validation tests or build the tools required to perform verification tests, ensuring the hardware design under verification functions according to specifications.
• Integrate Products: Integrate products from industry-leading suppliers of I/O and networking, requiring networking and Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) business debug skills.
• Apply Verification Principles: Apply Random/Deterministic Verification Principles and utilize knowledge of Engineering Principles to ensure thorough verification of designs.
