Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Engineer (applied part) based in Gurugram. The GIS Engineer will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining GIS applications that support development and planning projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, processing, and managing spatial and non-spatial data, building and updating geodatabases,



and creating maps and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves conducting spatial analysis, supporting project teams with geo‑informatics solutions, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across projects. The GIS Engineer will collaborate closely with planners, analysts, and technical teams to translate project requirements into effective GIS workflows and tools.
Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and hands-on experience with GIS Applications.
• Ability to work with Maps and spatial datasets, including map creation, visualization, and cartographic best practices.
• Experience managing Databases, including geodatabases and related data structures for spatial information.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for spatial analysis, problem-solving, and interpreting geo‑spatial outputs.
