Younity Energy is seeking an experienced Design and Estimation Engineer to support solar projects across residential, commercial, and industrial segments. The role involves preparing technical designs, BOQs, cost estimates, project proposals, and supporting project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review site assessment reports and prepare solar system designs, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Develop BOQs, material quantities, cost estimates, and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, vendors, and clients.
• Validate pricing, optimize designs, and support bids and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and project requirements.




• Maintain accurate project documentation and support design revisions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering field.
• 5–7 years of experience in solar design, estimation, EPC, or related projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, costing, and project estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and relevant design or estimation tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with rooftop solar, industrial solar, or C&I; projects is preferred.
