Role Description The Manager of Research and Development is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram, responsible for overseeing end-to-end R&D; activities in alignment with Orchid Pharma’s strategic priorities. This role involves leading the design, execution, and optimization of research projects related to drug discovery, formulation development,



and process improvement. The Manager will coordinate cross-functional project plans, ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards, and monitor timelines, budgets, and milestones. Daily responsibilities include guiding and mentoring R&D; team members, reviewing experimental data and technical reports, facilitating collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams, and presenting findings to senior leadership. The role also includes identifying innovation opportunities, evaluating emerging technologies, and supporting the development of product pipelines in anti-infective and related therapeutic areas.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Research and Development (R&D;) and applied Research within pharmaceutical or life sciences domains.
• Demonstrated Team Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary R&D; teams.
