Company Description Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd (RNAIPL) is the first dedicated Alliance plant globally and has been operating since 2010. Located on a 600-acre site in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the plant serves both domestic and export markets for Renault and Nissan vehicles. RNAIPL has manufactured over 2.4 million vehicles, supplying products to 108 countries. The Alliance has invested $1.8 billion in India through this facility, contributing significantly to the local economy. The plant has created extensive direct and indirect employment and skilling opportunities for a large and diverse workforce.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based at the Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd plant in Chennai. The Engineer will be responsible for supporting production operations, including monitoring manufacturing processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Daily tasks may include data analysis, coordination with cross-functional teams, preparing technical documentation,



and ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role may also involve participating in recent model launches, equipment installation and validation, and continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and cost optimization. The Engineer is expected to collaborate closely with shop-floor personnel, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth plant operations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong engineering fundamentals in mechanical, electrical, automotive, or related disciplines, supported by a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
