Role Description The Assistant Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. This role involves preparing mise en place, assisting in the production of pastries, desserts, and baked items, and following standardized recipes and plating guidelines.



The Assistant Chef helps maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients. The role includes monitoring baking times, quality checks, and adjusting methods under guidance to ensure consistency and presentation standards are met. The Assistant Chef collaborates with the kitchen team, supports inventory and ordering tasks as needed, and contributes ideas for current items while respecting the patisserie’s brand and style.

Qualifications
• Foundational cooking and bakery skills, including familiarity with doughs, batters, fillings, and basic decorating techniques.
• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety practices, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately, measure ingredients precisely, and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
• Effective time management and organizational skill
