About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Java AWS Developer to design, develop, integrate, and deploy scalable APIs and microservices for commercial banking applications. You'll need robust hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, asynchronous API development, and AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain applications on a microservices architecture.
• Develop asynchronous and reactive APIs using Spring WebFlux.
• Integrate RESTful APIs with existing SOAP-based services.
• Develop Java-based serverless APIs on AWS Lambda.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on AWS ECS.
• Implement messaging integrations using AWS SQS and SNS.
• Manage application secrets and data encryption using AWS Secrets Manager and AWS KMS.
• Work with enterprise integration platforms such as Tibco or MuleSoft.
• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Manage builds and dependencies using Gradle.
• Run code-quality and security checks using SonarQube and Veracode.
Mandatory Skills
• Core: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API development
• Reactive Programming: Spring WebFlux
• AWS Cloud: Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager, KMS
• Integration: SOAP API integration, Tibco or MuleSoft
• DevOps & Build: Docker, Gradle
• Code Quality & Security: SonarQube, Veracode
Preferred Skills
• Experience with commercial banking applications
• Background in banking or financial services
