Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially driven and analytical Merchandising Manager to lead assortment planning, inventory management, pricing strategy, and marketplace merchandising. The role will focus on optimising product availability, driving sales growth, improving inventory efficiency, and maximising profitability across e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal and event-based assortment plans aligned with business objectives and market demand.
• Manage inventory planning, demand forecasting, replenishment, Open-to-Buy (OTB), and pricing strategies.
• Drive merchandising operations across marketplaces such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and Ajio.
• Optimise product listings, catalogue quality, brand stores, visibility, and conversion rates.
• Analyse sales performance, sell-through, inventory ageing, margins, and return rates to identify improvement opportunities.
• Plan promotional campaigns, discounting strategies, and marketplace sale events.
• Coordinate with marketing, finance, accounts, logistics,



and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor competitor pricing, assortment, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards to track business performance and support decision-making.
• Mentor junior team members and improve merchandising processes and workflows.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, preferably in fashion, footwear, apparel, or sportswear.
• Strong understanding of assortment planning, inventory management, pricing, and marketplace operations.
• Hands-on experience with major e-commerce marketplaces.
• Solid analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• A graduate or postgraduate qualification in Fashion Management, Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
