Job Description: Senior Data Engineer – SQL, Azure & Power BI• Experience: 5+ Years
• Primary Skills: SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Power BI, Advanced DAX

Key Responsibilities• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
• Support, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy SSIS packages.
• Design data warehouses and dimensional models using star and snowflake schemas.
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and executive-level visualizations.
• Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, calculated tables, KPIs, and time-intelligence calculations.
• Optimize Power BI semantic models, datasets, report performance, and data refresh processes.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Work with SSRS, SSAS,



and other Microsoft data technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions.

Required Skills• 8–12 years of experience in data engineering and Microsoft data technologies.
• Solid expertise in SQL Server and advanced T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
• Strong Power BI and advanced DAX development skills.
• Expertise in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data integration.
• Experience with Power BI semantic models, RLS, and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, cleansing, and validation.

Preferred Skills• Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Power BI Premium.
• SSAS Tabular models and advanced DAX optimization.
• Microsoft Azure or Power BI certifications.
