About the RoleWe are looking for an Android Lead Developer to own Android platform development and SoC integration for automotive infotainment systems. You will work across the Android Framework, native layers, HAL, kernel and board bring-up, lead complex technical topics from analysis through closure, and guide the team on design and debugging.
Key Responsibilities• Lead development and customization of Android Framework and AOSP components for automotive platforms.
• Own Android/SoC topics independently and drive issues to closure.
• Develop and integrate Android HALs (AIDL/HIDL) and JNI layers.
• Handle Android BSP and SoC integration, including board bring-up.
• Integrate and validate SoC peripherals such as display, audio, camera, connectivity, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and storage.
• Debug system-level issues across Application, Framework, Native, HAL and Kernel layers.
• Manage AOSP builds and customization using the Soong/Make build system.
• Work with Git, Gerrit and CI/CD pipelines for code management, review and delivery.




• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance on design and debugging.

Required SkillsAndroid Platform
• 6-8+ years of Android development experience, preferably in Automotive Android.
• Strong hands-on experience with Android Framework and AOSP.
• Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and automotive infotainment.
• Good understanding of Android architecture, system services and Binder IPC.
• Hands-on experience with the Android build system (Soong/Make) and AOSP customization.

Programming
• Strong Java/Kotlin and C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with Android HAL (AIDL/HIDL) and JNI.

BSP and Kernel
• Experience in Android BSP / SoC integration and board bring-up.
• Positive knowledge of the Linux Kernel, Device Tree and Android drivers.

Peripheral Integration
• Experience integrating display, audio, camera, connectivity, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, storage or other SoC peripherals.

Debugging
