Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to manage end- end taxation across India and international markets, along with Accounts Payable (AP) operations for overseas entities. The role requires solid expertise in tax compliance, reconciliations, financial data management, and coordination with external advisors to ensure accurate reporting and timely compliance across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
International Taxation
• Manage VAT, GST, and Sales Tax compliance across international markets, including the US, UK, and EU.
• Coordinate with local tax consultants and advisors for tax registrations, return filings, payments, and regulatory compliance.
• Track and reconcile output tax based on Shopify sales and input tax credits, wherever applicable.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and place-of-supply rules across jurisdictions.

India Taxation
• Manage GST compliance, including preparation of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns and reconciliation of GSTR-2B with books of accounts.
• Support income tax computations and TDS compliance.




• Handle GST implications relating to domestic sales and exports from India to Singapore and other international markets.

Accounts Payable – Overseas Entities
• Process and account for overseas vendor invoices, including 3PL and logistics, shipping and freight, and digital marketing expenses such as Meta and Google advertising.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation by country and SKU, wherever required.
• Manage vendor reconciliations and ensure timely payments.

Tax Reconciliation & Internal Controls
• Reconcile tax liabilities with returns filed and payments made.
• Reconcile Shopify sales data with tax returns and reported sales.
• Identify discrepancies in tax collection, tax application, and reporting, and coordinate their resolution.
• Ensure appropriate tax treatment across sales, billing, logistics, and payment flows.
