What you’ll do:
Eaton announced, on June 11, 20206, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and perks at that time.
This position is part of the LVPC Product Engineering team and supports Vehicle Control products used in commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural equipment, specialty vehicles, and industrial mobile-equipment applications. The Senior Engineer develops electronics hardware and embedded-control solutions for multiplexed switches, keypads, rotary controls, operator-control modules, and vehicle I/O products. The incumbent translates customer requirements into robust product designs,
participates in design reviews and verification, supports production launch and field-issue resolution, and works with global cross-functional teams to achieve quality, cost, schedule, reliability, functional-safety, and customer requirements.

• Design and review analog and digital circuits, microcontroller-based designs, power supplies, signal conditioning, communication interfaces, schematics, PCB layouts, component selection, and design-for-manufacturing/test.
• Support hardware–software integration for CAN, SAE J1939, LIN, diagnostics, bootloaders, calibration, fault handling, and HMI features.
