Role Description This is a full time, on-site Senior Naval Architect role based in Mumbai. The Senior Naval Architect will lead and perform verification activities, including hydrostatic and stability calculations, structural design assessments, mooring analyses etc.



Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing technical drawings and reports, performing structural and hydrodynamic analyses, and ensuring compliance with MWS Guidelines, class rules, international regulations, and client specifications. The role involves supporting marine warranty surveys and vessel assurance inspections from a technical perspective, providing engineering input for marine operations and project cargo movements, and coordinating with project managers, surveyors, and clients to resolve design and operational issues. The Senior Naval Architect will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to internal technical standards, and support business development with technical proposals and solutions.
