Role Description The Assistant Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
This role supports the Director and production leadership in planning, organising, and executing shoots for film, television, and digital content.
Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing call sheets, assisting with shot planning, and ensuring smooth communication between departments such as camera, art, sound, and production.
The Assistant Director helps oversee on-set logistics, monitors progress against the production plan, and supports talent and crew so that creative objectives and timelines are met.
The role also involves pre-production tasks such as script breakdowns, location coordination, and basic documentation, as well as post-production follow-up on deliverables and production reports.

Qualifications
• Strong production coordination skills, including scheduling, call sheet creation, and on-set logistics management.




• Familiarity with film and video workflows, including script breakdowns, shot lists, and basic continuity tracking.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with directors, crew, talent, and clients.
• Ability to work in rapid-paced environments, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to anticipating production needs.
• Basic understanding of camera, lighting, and sound terminology to support technical teams efficiently.
• Experience in film, television, advertising, or digital content production; prior Assistant Director or production role is an advantage.
• Relevant education in film, media, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru with flexible hours based on production schedules.
