Limelight Software is hiring an AWS Cloud Operations & DevOps Engineer to manage the infrastructure and deployment processes behind our SaaS platform. You’ll work hands-on with AWS and Linux production systems, improve CI/CD pipelines, automate operational tasks, and keep customer environments reliable and secure.
We’re looking for someone who can troubleshoot a production issue, improve how software is deployed, and automate recurring work to reduce manual effort and prevent problems.
What you’ll do
AWS and production operations
• Manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC networking.

• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and infrastructure costs.

• Troubleshoot Linux, application, database, networking, DNS, and SSL/TLS issues.

• Manage backups and test restoration and disaster-recovery procedures.

• Respond to production incidents, investigate root causes, and implement lasting fixes.

DevOps and automation
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related deployment tools.





• Work with development and QA teams to make releases consistent, repeatable, and easier to troubleshoot.

• Manage deployment configurations, workplace variables, secrets, and artifact repositories.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and routine maintenance using scripts and infrastructure as code.

• Improve deployment validation and rollback procedures.

• Maintain clear operational documentation and runbooks.

Security and access
• Maintain appropriate IAM permissions, MFA, VPN access, security groups, and employee access controls.

• Investigate security alerts and address vulnerabilities using tools such as AWS Inspector, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail.

• Apply patches and maintain security logging and monitoring.

• Support SOC 2 evidence collection, control monitoring, and remediation tracking.

Tickets and reporting
