The HR Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day HR function for TORQ's India business and operations.

The position requires a hands-on HR professional who can independently manage the complete employee lifecycle while partnering closely with business leaders and management.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and international business workplace and should combine strong HR operational capabilities with sound judgement, commercial awareness and a people-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding through separation
• Prepare and maintain employment documentation, employee records, HR letters, confirmations and related documentation
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee information within the HRIS
• Coordinate onboarding, induction, probation reviews, confirmations, transfers, promotions and exits
• Conduct exit formalities and exit interviews




• Ensure HR processes and documentation are consistently followed across the India organisation
• Talent Acquisition
• Manage recruitment activities across corporate and business functions
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and develop appropriate recruitment strategies
• Source and screen candidates through recruitment platforms, agencies, referrals and direct sourcing
• Coordinate interviews, assessments and selection processes
• Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
• Support salary benchmarking, offer negotiations and preparation of employment offers
• Maintain recruitment pipelines and provide regular hiring updates to management
• Employee Relations
• Act as a key HR point of contact for employees and managers
• Handle employee queries, workplace concerns and day-to-day HR matters professionally and confidentially
• Support grievance and disciplinary processes
