Company:

A fast growing UK business services firm providing accounting, compliance and operational support to UK SMEs and small limited companies. We are expanding our team and looking for a highly qualified, experienced accountant based in India to manage a growing portfolio of UK clients across a range of industries.

Role:

You will take ownership of a portfolio of UK based SME and small limited company clients, handling their accounting, tax compliance and financial reporting end to end. You will work closely with out UK Directors and communicate directly with clients. This is a genuinely client-facing role- your English must be excellent and your UK accounting knowledge must be current and thorough.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare year end accounts and corporation tax returns for UK limited companies
- Manage VAT returns across standard, flat rate and cash accounting schemes.
- Prepare and file confirmation statements and maintain Companies House compliance
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports
- Handle PAYE, payroll and auto-enrolment compliance
- Liaise with HMRC on clients matters




- Communicate directly with UK clients-professionally, clearly and proactively.
- Support directors with tax planning, dividend strategies and year end advice.
- Work within UK accounting standards-FR 102 and FRS 105

Qualifications:

- Highly qualified in accounting-CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent. Part qualified candidates with exceptional UK experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years hands on experience working directly with UK clients-not just studied UK accounting, actually worked with UK businesses.
- Solid working knowledge of UK corporation tax, VAT, PAYE and Companies house requirements
- Xero-essential
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Available to work UK-aligned hours
