Area Manager Franchise Development -Education Industry Chennai – 5+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to drive franchise acquisition and business expansion in the K-12 education sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in franchise development, institutional sales, or key account management, along with strong networking, negotiation, and presentation skills. The role involves identifying potential business partners, evaluating new markets, and driving regional growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

1. Identifying potential business partners for school franchise expansion across the assigned region.
2. Conducting city profiling and evaluating locations for new school launches.
3. Implementing lead-generation initiatives and following up on enquiries generated through marketing campaigns.
4. Delivering business presentations and evaluating prospective franchise partners.
5. Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and regional growth opportunities.
6. Driving franchise sign-ups, revenue generation, and regional profitability targets.
7. Developing and executing marketing strategies to support franchise acquisition.
8. Monitoring market intelligence and ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements.
9. Maintaining bi-weekly acquisition reports and preparing region-wise collection and performance reports.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in sales, franchise development, institutional sales, or business expansion.
2. Experience in franchise acquisition, key account management, or institutional sales, preferably within the education industry.
3. Solid understanding of market mapping,



geographic regions, and business development opportunities.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to analyse business data, manage multiple priorities, and achieve revenue targets.
6. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Sales, Operations, BBA, or BMS.
7. Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
