Business Head Traffic Division

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned business leader to own and scale our Traffic Division as an end-to-end P&L; business. The division designs, manufactures, and deploys traffic and security solutions—traffic cameras, security cameras, ANPR, speed enforcement, signal systems, VMS, and related smart infrastructure.

You do not need to come from the traffic domain. If you have a strong track record of running a technology/electronics/electrical business, handling government/infrastructure customers, and owning P&L;, sales, and operations, this role is for you.

Role & responsibilities

- Own the full P&L; of the Traffic Division: revenue growth, margins, cost control, and profitability.
- Drive sales and business development across government, highway authorities, smart cities, traffic police, and large infrastructure projects.
- Lead business operations: demand planning, supply chain coordination with manufacturing, project execution support, and after-sales service.
- Build and lead a high-performing team across sales, pre-sales, project management, and operations.
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for traffic and security products in India and select international markets.
- Manage relationships with government and regulatory bodies (MoRTH, NHAI, state PWDs, traffic police, municipal corporations,



smart city SPVs).
- Oversee tendering, bidding, and contract management for large-scale government and infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with product, R&D;, and CTOs office to shape a roadmap of locally-adapted, reliable products for Indian conditions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and certifications (BIS, MoRTH, NHAI, IRC, etc.).
- Represent the division at industry forums, with key customers, and within the Ador Group leadership.

What We Are Looking For

- 15+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years in team leadership and 3+ years in P&L; ownership.
- Senior leadership experience as Business Head, COO, Head of Sales, or Head of Business Development in a technology-driven organization.
- Robust background in electronics, electrical, industrial products, infrastructure, or allied B2B/B2G businesses. Traffic domain experience is a plus, not mandatory.
- Proven ability to:
- Grow a business and consistently meet/exceed sales targets.
- Run a P&L; with discipline and strategic thinking.
- Handle government/infrastructure projects and complex stakeholder environments.

- MBA (or equivalent) preferred.
