Role & responsibilities

- Teach History to Classes VII - X (ICSE) as per CISCE curriculum and academic requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments and assessments.
- Prepare students effectively for ICSE Board Examinations through regular revision and practice.
- Develop students analytical, critical-thinking and research skills through discussions and activities.
- Assess student performance, maintain academic records and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students with individual academic needs and mentoring.
- Participate in departmental meetings, examinations, school events and other academic responsibilities.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and engaging classroom setting.

Preferred candidate profile





- Postgraduate in History (M.A. History) with B.Ed.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in an ISC/CISCE school, preferably teaching Classes VII-X.
- Strong knowledge of the ISC History curriculum and examination pattern.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and student-engagement skills.
- Strong subject knowledge with an ability to develop analytical and critical-thinking skills in students.
- Board-examination-oriented approach with proven academic results preferred.
