Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass

Role Type: Live-in Home Support / Caregiving

Monthly Salary: ₹25,000, paid directly by the family

Food & Accommodation: Provided by the family

Role

Provide day-to-day personal assistance and companionship to elderly, recovering or dependent patients at their home.

Responsibilities

- Bathing, grooming and personal hygiene
- Toileting and diaper changes
- Feeding and hydration assistance
- Walking, transfers, positioning and mobility support
- Companionship and supervision
- Helping maintain patient comfort and safety
- Basic patient-room organisation
- Following instructions provided by the family and MITRA
- Reporting any change in the patient’s condition

Optional Household Support

Cooking, laundry, utensil washing or household cleaning may be undertaken only if separately agreed between the caregiver and family,



with additional compensation as mutually decided.

Not Part of the Role

This is a non-nursing position. The caregiver must not independently perform:

- Injections or IV procedures
- Catheter or Ryles/NG tube care
- Wound dressings
- Medication administration
- Any other nursing or medical procedure

Requirements

- 10th or 12th pass
- Comfortable assisting with bathing, toileting and feeding
- Willing to work in patient homes
- Patient, respectful and dependable
- Comfortable with live-in assignments
- Basic smartphone use preferred
- Must complete MITRA screening, verification and orientation before placement

Key: The caregiver is directly engaged and employed by the family after selection. MITRA facilitates screening, matching and placement.
