Manager on Duty (MOD)

About us

Indo US Multi-Speciality Hospital is a growing multi-speciality hospital in Tolichowki, Hyderabad. We’re looking for a Manager on Duty to lead our front office team and keep the hospital running smoothly on every shift.

The role

You’ll be responsible for front office operations during your shift: admissions, billing, discharges, patient experience and coordination between departments. You’ll lead a team of billing and patient relations executives and report to the Head of Operations.

What you’ll do

- Lead and supervise the front office team on shift: billing executives and patient relations executives
- Manage admissions: counselling families on costs, packages and deposits; allocating rooms; coordinating with doctors and nursing
- Make sure every service is billed accurately and on time in the hospital software
- Manage discharges from start to finish within the turnaround targets, including final bills and clearance
- Follow up outstanding payments and reconcile cash, UPI and card collections at the end of the shift




- Do regular hospital rounds and resolve patient and family concerns on the spot
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing, pharmacy, lab, radiology, housekeeping and marketing
- Handle emergencies and escalate sensitive cases promptly and correctly
- Keep accurate registers and records, and give clear written shift handovers

What we’re looking for

- A graduate in any discipline (hospital administration or healthcare management preferred)
- [1+] years in a hospital front office, billing, admissions or operations role
- Hands-on experience with hospital billing software (HIS)
- Solid command of English, Hindi/Urdu and Telugu
- Calm, firm and courteous with patients and families, especially on billing matters
- Comfortable with rotating shifts, including nights, and able to run a shift independently
- Disciplined, punctual and well organised
