Job Summary

We are looking for a detailed-oriented and enthusiastic CAD Design Engineer with 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience using CATIA (V5/V6/3DEXPERIENCE). In this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing 3D surface and solid models, 2D technical drawings, and assemblies for engineering components. You will work closely with cross-functional design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs meet functional specifications, safety standards, and manufacturability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- 3D Modeling & Design: Create complex 3D part models, sheet metal components, plastic parts, or surface models using CATIA V5 / V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Assembly & Integration: Develop structured product assemblies, perform stack-up analysis, and conduct clearance/clash checks.
- 2D Drafting & Detailing:



Generate 2D manufacturing engineering drawings with detailed GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) according to ASME Y14.5 or ISO standards.
- Design Revision & Optimization: Modify existing CAD models based on Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN).
- Data Management: Maintain standard CAD file organization within Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) platforms (e.g., Enovia, Teamcenter).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with tooling, testing, and production engineering teams to resolve design conflicts and validate prototype designs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
