Job Description: Assistant Manager - Provider Enrollment

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Provider Enrollment to support the Provider Enrollment Manager in overseeing the end-to-end enrollment process for healthcare providers with commercial and government payors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a segment of the team, ensuring strict compliance with payor requirements, and actively contributing to process improvements for timely and accurate enrollments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Manager in supervising and coordinating the daily activities of a segment of the provider enrollment team.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs and quality standards for team deliverables.
- Oversee and execute the submission, follow-up, and tracking of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payor enrollments.
- Coordinate directly with credentialing, licensing, and operations teams to ensure the accuracy of provider data in all systems.
- Perform detailed review and validation of provider information, including CAQH profiles, NPI, licenses,



and contracts for approval by the Manager.
- Support the Manager in developing and collecting data for performance metrics (efficiency and turnaround time).
- Identify and report process bottlenecks and support the implementation of best practices.
- Handle and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 escalations and complex enrollment cases before escalating to the Manager.
- Stay updated with regulatory and payor-specific changes, communicating key updates to the team and Manager.
- Prepare preliminary reports for management and assist with audit preparation.

Qualifications:

- 7–10 years of experience in Provider Enrollment, with at least 3 year of experience in a lead, supervisory, or mentorship role.
- Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance enrollment processes.
- Hands-on experience with CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, and other provider management systems.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and team coaching/mentoring skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and track multiple tasks in a fast-paced workplace.
