Job Description – Pharmacist & Staff Nurse

Organization: CritiCare Hospital, Lucknow

Department: Pharmacy / Nursing

Experience: 1–3 Years Preferred

Duty Hours: As per hospital roster, including rotational night shifts

1. Pharmacist

Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm with valid State Pharmacy Council registration, as applicable.

Responsibilities:

- Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions and applicable regulations.
- Maintain medicine stock, expiry records, storage conditions, and inventory registers.
- Ensure availability of essential medicines and timely replenishment.
- Handle pharmacy billing, purchase records, and stock reconciliation.
- Follow medication safety protocols and hospital SOPs.
- Maintain cleanliness, accurate documentation, and proper shift handover.

2. Staff Nurse

Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing with valid nursing registration.

Responsibilities:





- Provide patient care and monitor vital signs and clinical conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Maintain nursing notes, patient files, and treatment records.
- Assist doctors during procedures and medical emergencies.
- Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and patient safety protocols.
- Ensure equipment readiness, proper shift handover, and patient confidentiality.
- Common RequirementsGood communication and teamwork skills.
- Punctuality, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights.
- Compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
