Job Title: Travel Consultant

Job Summary We are looking for a customer-oriented and detail-focused Travel Consultant to plan, customize, and coordinate domestic and international travel packages. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, preparing travel itineraries, providing suitable travel options, handling bookings, and ensuring a smooth travel experience from inquiry to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer inquiries for domestic and international holiday packages.
- Understand client preferences, budgets, travel dates, and specific requirements.
- Design customized, day-wise travel itineraries and prepare attractive holiday packages.
- Prepare quotations covering hotels, flights, sightseeing, transfers, meals, and other travel services.
- Coordinate with hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), transport providers, tour operators, and other suppliers.
- Make hotel, flight, sightseeing, transfer, and activity reservations.
- Check availability, compare supplier rates, negotiate prices, and ensure competitive package pricing.
- Follow up with clients regarding quotations, bookings, payments, and confirmations.
- Prepare and share booking vouchers, travel documents, itineraries, and important travel information.
- Handle booking amendments,



cancellations, refunds, and customer complaints.
- Provide pre-departure assistance and coordinate with suppliers during travel in case of emergencies or service issues.
- Maintain accurate booking records, payment details, and client information.
- Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Graduate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may also be considered.
- Experience in the travel industry, preferably in holiday package planning and sales.
- Knowledge of domestic and international destinations, hotels, sightseeing, and transportation.
- Valuable communication, customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare professional quotations and customized itineraries.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email communication, and online booking portals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries and bookings simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with B2B travel portals, hotel booking platforms, airline reservation systems, and DMCs.
- Knowledge of FIT, group tours, family holidays, honeymoon packages, and senior-citizen-friendly travel.
- Understanding of travel documentation, visa requirements, cancellation policies, and supplier payment procedures.
