Job SummaryWe are looking for motivated and customer-oriented individuals for the position of Loan Officer under the Bharat Super Shop (BSS) model. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, promoting loan products, building customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring timely collections from small retailers and business outlets.

This is an outbound, field-based role that requires extensive local market travel, valuable communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

- Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Acquisition: Conduct market surveys to identify prospective customers and acquire new customers for loan products.
- Sales & Business Development: Promote Overdraft and Retail Loan products to small retailers and business outlets and achieve assigned business targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Lead Generation: Identify business opportunities and generate quality leads to expand the customer base.
- Collection Management: Conduct timely collection activities and follow up with customers to improve repayment performance.
- Portfolio Quality:



Help minimize customer delinquencies through regular follow-ups and effective collection practices.
- Target Achievement: Meet assigned sourcing, sales, and collection targets within defined timelines.
- Market Development: Visit local markets and business outlets to identify potential customers and expand business reach.
- Teamwork: Coordinate with the Branch Manager and team members to achieve business objectives.
- Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Minimum 10th Pass / PUC / Matriculation or equivalent.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in sales, field operations, customer service, or collections. Freshers may also apply.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to sell products and handle customers effectively.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work in a competitive environment and achieve business goals.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and the local vernacular language (reading, writing, and speaking, as applicable).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Mandatory RequirementsMust own a two-wheeler with valid insurance.
- Must possess a valid driving licence.
- Must be comfortable with a field-based job and regular market visits.
