Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Solar Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing solar power systems, including module layouts, mounting structures, electrical drawings, and project design documentation for residential, commercial, and industrial solar installations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design solar PV systems based on site requirements and customer needs.
- Prepare solar panel layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and detailed engineering drawings.
- Design and optimize solar mounting structures for rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
- Perform structural calculations and load analysis for solar installations.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), project documentation, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with procurement, project execution, and installation teams.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.




- Review site survey data and provide technical design solutions.
- Support project execution teams with design-related queries and modifications.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, STAAD Pro, PVsyst, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, mounting structures, modules, inverters, and electrical components.
- Understanding of structural design, wind load calculations, and rooftop analysis.
- Ability to prepare technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Solar PV Design preferred.
- Freshers with relevant software knowledge and solar design training may also apply.
