JOB DESCRIPTION: ADMISSION COUNSELLOR

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are looking for a confident, persuasive and parent-friendly Admission Counsellor with a strong sales background. The candidate will guide prospective parents, explain the school’s offerings and convert enquiries into admissions through professional counselling and consistent follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

* Counsel prospective parents to understand their child’s educational needs and expectations.

* Clearly explain the school’s curriculum, teaching approach, facilities, activities, fee structure and admission process.

* Conduct engaging campus tours and highlight the school’s strengths.

* Address parent questions and objections confidently, helping families make informed admission decisions.

* Follow up on enquiries through calls, messages and scheduled meetings.

* Achieve agreed admission and enquiry-conversion targets.

* Maintain accurate enquiry records, follow-up updates and admission status in the school’s CRM or ERP.

* Coordinate assessments and meetings with the academic team.

* Assist parents with application forms, required documents and fee-payment procedures.

* Participate in admission campaigns, school events and promotional activities.

* Communicate only approved fees, concessions and policies, and obtain written approval for any exception.





Qualifications & Skills

* Graduate in any discipline.

* Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, admissions counselling or customer relationship management.

* Strong sales skills with a proven ability to convert enquiries into successful admissions.

* Excellent command of spoken and written English; Hindi and Telugu are an added advantage.

* Strong presentation, persuasion, listening and objection-handling skills.

* Comfortable working with targets and making regular follow-up calls.

* Qualified appearance, a welcoming attitude and accurate documentation skills.

* Experience in school admissions is preferred.
