We are looking for a strong SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant with minimum 12 years of experience and deep functional expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling.

The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, with 2-3 full-cycle greenfield implementations being mandatory. The candidate should be capable of independently handling business requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support across the complete FICO landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations across all project phases, including:
- Requirement gathering and analysis
- Business blueprinting
- Solution design
- Configuration
- Integration
- Testing
- Deployment/go-live
- Post-go-live support

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Configure, implement, and optimize SAP FICO processes across:

- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA/FA)
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Product Costing
- Margin Analysis / CO-PA
- Treasury

- Provide functional expertise for core financial processes, including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and management reporting.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements and SAP best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams such as MM, SD, PP, and other relevant modules to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios, and other project documentation.
- Support unit testing,



integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Troubleshoot complex SAP FICO issues and provide timely functional solutions.
- Support cutover, data migration, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to junior consultants and functional team members.
- Participate in workshops with business stakeholders and contribute to solution validation and decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

- 12+ years of overall SAP FICO experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling.
- 2-3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations Mandatory.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and business processes.
- Extensive configuration experience across:
- GL
- AP
- AR
- Asset Accounting
- CCA
- PCA
- Product Costing
- Margin Analysis / CO-PA
- Treasury

- Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
- Experience with month-end/year-end closing, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Strong understanding of integration between FICO and other SAP modules, particularly MM, SD, and PP.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and production support.




- Ability to independently analyze business requirements and provide appropriate SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in global/multi-location implementation environments is preferred.

Mandatory Requirements

- 12+ years of SAP FICO experience
- 2-3 full-cycle S/4HANA Greenfield implementations
- Robust hands-on S/4HANA Finance & Controlling configuration experience
- Experience across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CCA, PCA, Product Costing, Margin Analysis, and Treasury
- Strong end-to-end implementation and stakeholder management experience
- Notice period: 7-15 days
- Willingness to work in Bangalore in a hybrid model
- Willingness to work primarily in IST with a few hours of PST overlap

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is an advantage.
- Experience in large-scale/global SAP transformation programs.
- Experience working with business and IT stakeholders across multiple geographies.
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and S/4HANA best practices.
- Strong experience in fit-gap analysis and solution standardization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on SAP S/4HANA FICO functional expert who has successfully delivered multiple greenfield implementations and can take ownership of FICO activities from requirement gathering through go-live and stabilization. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with senior business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams while providing practical, business-focused solutions.
