Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database Administration and Oracle GoldenGate. The candidate will be responsible for database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, replication, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Database Administration

- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases.
- Perform day-to-day administration across development, test, and production environments.
- Monitor database health, availability, storage, and performance.
- Perform SQL/query performance tuning, indexing, and database optimization.
- Manage users, roles, privileges, and database security.
- Troubleshoot database connectivity, performance, locking, and space-related issues.
- Support database migration, refresh, and setting-related activities.

Oracle GoldenGate

- Install, configure, and administer Oracle GoldenGate environments.
- Configure and manage Extract, Data Pump, and Replicat processes.
- Monitor replication lag, trail files, processes, and data synchronization.
- Troubleshoot replication failures, abends, latency, and data consistency issues.
- Perform GoldenGate upgrades, configuration changes, and maintenance activities.
- Support real-time and near-real-time data replication between Oracle databases.
- Perform recovery and restart of GoldenGate processes while maintaining data integrity.

Backup, Recovery & High Availability

- Manage RMAN backup and recovery activities.




- Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Perform database recovery, restore, and failover-related activities.
- Monitor database availability and ensure SLA compliance.

Production Support

- Provide L2/L3 production support for critical Oracle databases and replication environments.
- Analyze incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Participate in change, release, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, network, and support teams.
- Participate in on-call and weekend support as required.

Candidate Profile

- 5–8 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate in enterprise environments.
- Good understanding of database performance, backup/recovery, replication, and production support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
