Shift Manager ODC Events | Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview:
Responsible for managing day-to-day operations at ODC (Outdoor Catering) events, ensuring smooth execution, quality service, team coordination, and an excellent customer experience while maintaining Third Wave Coffee standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end caf and beverage operations at ODC events.
- Lead and supervise the event team, including Baristas and support staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and ensure adequate manpower deployment as per event requirements.
- Ensure timely setup, service, and closure of the event.
- Maintain Third Wave Coffee standards for coffee, beverages, food quality, presentation, and service.
- Coordinate with the Events/ODC team and Operations team for smooth event execution.
- Monitor stock, inventory, equipment, consumables, and wastage during events.
- Ensure all required equipment and materials are available and operational before the event.




- Handle customer/client interactions and resolve service-related concerns promptly.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and safety standards at the event location.
- Monitor billing, cash handling, and transaction processes, wherever applicable.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs with the team.
- Track team attendance, productivity, and performance during events.
- Report any operational issues, incidents, stock shortages, or equipment concerns to the concerned team.
- Support training and coaching of team members to maintain service standards.
- Ensure proper packing, reconciliation, and return of equipment and inventory after the event.
- Maintain event-wise reports and documentation as required.
